Why we started
Amar Daktar opened in April 2024 as part of PentaMart Ltd.’s work to build trust-verified services across Bangladesh. The idea was plain. Most health questions do not need a hospital — but they do need a qualified doctor, and for a great many families a qualified doctor is hours away.
So we put ours on the phone. Video, audio, or a chair in our chamber: the same physicians, the same standard, whichever door you come through.
Credentials first, always
Our panel is 6 physicians strong, each MBBS-qualified and registered with the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council. We do not put anyone in front of a patient who is not licensed to practise in Bangladesh.

You can reach us from anywhere with a phone signal, and see us in person in Niketan, Gulshan-01. In August 2024 and May 2025 we took the same care by boat and ambulance to flood-hit families across Feni, Noakhali and Comilla.
